Alternative Plan Approved
On July 8, 2008 Maine
Commissioner of Education Susan Gendron notified M.S.A.D. No. 64 that the
Alternative Plan submitted by the District is complete an in compliance with the
school reorganization law P.L. 2007, chapter 240, Part XXXX. Members of
the Board of Directors and Reorganization Planning Committee (RPC) are to be
commended for their efforts. |

Budget
Validation Referendum
Voters in the five
communities of M.S.A.D. No. 64 voted to validate the decision made to approved
the District Budget at the annual District Budget Meeting by a 500-181 vote at
the June 10 referendum.
