Message From the Principal
Welcome to the web page for Hudson Elementary School. Hudson Elementary is a small school with a large spirit! Hudson Elementary currently houses grades three and four and this year has one third grade classroom and two fourth grade classrooms. Total student enrollment is approximately 50 students.
Teachers at Hudson Elementary include the following:
Mrs. Woodbury, Grade 3
Mrs. Green, Grade 4
Mrs. Wood, Grade 4
Mrs. Judy Mitchell is the building secretary.
Teachers at Hudson Elementary School use the Workshop Model to deliver instruction. In this model, reading, writing and math are taught in 90-minute daily blocks. Science and social studies are integrated into these blocks. Students receive music and physical education weekly. Students who are identified in need also receive Title One math and reading instruction daily.
The staff at Hudson Elementary is committed to meeting student needs and strives each day to work with students to make sure they are making necessary learning gains. The district has set reading, writing and math goals for each student at each grade level. Hudson Elementary School teachers are experienced and knowledgeable.
